Vitalik Buterin’s Positive Outlook on Crypto
At a conference in Singapore, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum ETH/USD, shared his optimism for the future of cryptocurrencies despite recent challenges.
He noted the importance of the “baptisms of fire” the crypto industry has faced, which exposed its weaknesses and encouraged improvements, like the need for more secure decentralized exchanges.
Buterin cited the collapse of FTX and other big platforms as lessons learned about the dangers of centralized systems, advocating for better security measures such as multi-signature wallets.
He emphasized that while the industry has improved with decentralized exchanges, advancements take time.
