Amman, Oct. 20 – The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) participated in major economic forums in Istanbul, including the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development’s (ICCD) sessions.

During these meetings, two new ICCD-affiliated institutions were approved: one focusing on entrepreneurship to help young innovators and reduce unemployment, and another aimed at empowering women economically through training and resources.

A “Business Support Platform” was also launched to enhance trade activities among member states and stimulate economic growth.

The JCC engaged in discussions about sustainable practices in commerce and attended the Turkish-Arab Economic Forum, highlighting investment and trade in Turkey and the Arab world.

Additionally, the JCC participated in the World Chambers Federation’s summit on climate action, emphasizing the need for businesses to incorporate climate risks into their strategies.

JCC representatives also met with Arab ministers and Islamic chamber leaders to strengthen ties and attract investments to Jordan.
