Jordan Chamber of Commerce Joins Major Istanbul Economic Event

Amman, Oct. 20 – The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) participated in important economic forums in Istanbul. These included the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) meetings.

The JCC announced two new institutions approved by ICCD. One aims to support young entrepreneurs by promoting innovation to reduce unemployment. The other focuses on empowering women economically by providing resources and training to enhance their participation in the economy.

Moreover, the General Assembly launched a “Business Support Platform” to enhance import and export activities and encourage trade cooperation, creating business opportunities and driving economic growth.

The JCC also participated in discussions about leadership and attended the 15th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum focused on investment and trade.

Additionally, the JCC was part of the World Chambers Federation’s Europe and Asia Regional Summit, which highlighted the need for businesses to consider climate risks in their strategies.

Lastly, JCC representatives met with Arab ministers and Islamic chamber leaders to strengthen relations and attract investments to Jordan.
