(MENAFN – AzerNews) The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has backed Kazakhstan’s plans to create a Green Finance Council and a Central Banks Council.
Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov announced this at the OTS Economy and Trade Ministers’ meeting on October 18 in Bishkek.
Ministers from Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary attended the meeting, focusing on enhancing cooperation and economic development.
The next meeting will be in Turkestan, where another Kazakhstan initiative, the TURAN special economic zone, will also be discussed.
