DOHA: Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, led a delegation to the 15th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum (TAF 2024) in Istanbul. The theme was ‘Turkey and the Arab World: A Global Corridor for Investment, Trade, and Technology.’
The delegation included QC board member Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli.
The forum was supported by various Turkish ministries and organizations, alongside the League of Arab States, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and others.
It gathered ministers, government leaders, and business figures from both Turkey and Arab nations to strengthen economic ties and promote investment and trade.
Mohamed Al Obaidli spoke on a panel titled ‘Building a Global Trade Corridor,’ sharing Qatar’s trade strategies and the Qatar Chamber’s role in regional development. He emphasized Qatar’s strong trade relations, driven by effective economic strategies and infrastructure growth ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
He noted the creation of a favorable business environment and Qatar Chamber’s efforts to enhance trade relations.
