SINGAPORE: A new bar called ‘Strawberry Fields’ has opened in Shanghai’s ‘Ju Fu Chang’ district, inspired by The Beatles.
Mr. Daga, 31, a former architect from Guangzhou, and Ms. Yiyi, 26, a former fashion designer from Liaoning, launched the bar in mid-September.
They used their savings to start this business despite economic uncertainty. “I started bartending full-time in May,” Mr. Daga said. “After I quit my job, my partner also left hers, and now we run the bar together.”
