Investing.com – Saudi Arabian stocks dropped after Monday’s close, driven down by losses in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance, and Financial Services sectors.
The Tadawul All Share index fell by 0.91%.
Top gainers included Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication, up 9.95% to 107.20, Middle East Specialized Cables Co., up 6.28% to 43.15, and Almajed 4 Oud Co., up 5.82% to 167.20.
Conversely, the biggest losers were Al Baha Investment, down 7.89% to 0.35, ACWA Power, down 7.35% to 441.00, and Al Hokair Group, down 5.07% to 2.81.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones, 169 to 118, with 30 remaining unchanged.
Middle East Specialized Cables Co. reached a 5-year high, rising 6.28% to 43.15.
In commodities, crude oil dropped 2.10% to $73.97 per barrel, while Brent oil fell 1.94% to $77.51, and gold dropped 0.31% to $2,667.90 an ounce.
EUR/SAR decreased by 0.23% to 4.10, and USD/SAR held steady at 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures rose by 0.31% to 103.00.
