Amman, Oct. 20 – The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) participated in key economic forums in Istanbul, including meetings of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD).
The JCC announced the establishment of two new ICCD institutions: one focused on supporting young entrepreneurs and reducing unemployment, and the other aimed at economically empowering women through training and resources.
A new “Business Support Platform” was also launched to enhance import and export activities and promote trade cooperation among member states.
Additionally, the JCC engaged in a panel discussion on leadership in commerce and attended the 15th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum, discussing investment and technology cooperation.
Moreover, JCC representatives participated in the World Chambers Federation’s summit on climate action, highlighting the integration of climate risks in business strategies.
On the sidelines, they met with Arab ministers and Islamic chamber leaders to strengthen partnerships and attract investment to Jordan.
