Amman, Oct. 20 – The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) attended key economic forums in Istanbul, including the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) meetings. This led to the establishment of two new institutions:
- Entrepreneurship Institution: Focuses on fostering innovation among young entrepreneurs to reduce unemployment and boost economic development.
- Women’s Empowerment Institution: Aims to provide resources and training for women to engage actively in the economy.
The ICCD also unveiled a “Business Support Platform” to enhance trade and create business opportunities among member states.
The JCC participated in a panel on chamber leadership and attended the Turkish-Arab Economic Forum on investment and trade.
Moreover, JCC representatives met with Arab ministers and Islamic chamber leaders to strengthen ties and attract investments to Jordan.
