ADA University has launched a new program called “Development of Leadership Skills” in partnership with the Azerbaijan Ministry of Economy’s Training Centre.
The program, which started on October 17, aims to improve strategic thinking, decision-making, planning, and management skills for 26 ministry employees.
During the opening ceremony, Aygu?n Hajiyeva, advisor to the vice-rector of ADA University, highlighted the focus on developing internal leaders to help others.
Aida Ibrahimova, chair of the Training Centre’s Management Board, stressed the need to modernize management systems to adapt to current economic and social changes. She noted that the program will help employees grow professionally in response to these changes.
The two-month program includes seven modules on leadership, etiquette, team management, motivation, strategic planning, change management, negotiation, and public speaking. It features interactive sessions like presentations, case studies, group work, and simulations, with instruction from ADA faculty and guest experts from various sectors.
